1. About us and these terms
This website, www.salonheadsup.co.za, is operated by Salon Heads Up & Beauty Spot (“we”, “us”, “our”), a beauty salon and hair-care supplier in Cape Town, South Africa. By browsing the site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.

2. Using the website
You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to place an order. Please give us accurate and complete information when you order or contact us. You may not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to send spam or harmful code.
3. Products, descriptions and prices
- All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR).
- We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately, but colours, packaging and sizes may vary slightly from what is shown, as manufacturers update their products.
- Products are offered while stock lasts. If a price or description is clearly wrong, or an item is out of stock, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
- We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay.
4. Placing an order
When you place an order you make an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it by email or dispatch the goods. You will receive an order confirmation by email; please contact us if you do not receive one, or if any detail is wrong.
5. Payment
Payment is made securely through PayFast, a South African payment gateway. Your card or bank details are entered on PayFast’s secure pages; we never see or store them. Your order is processed once PayFast confirms your payment.
6. Delivery and collection
- Collection: you may collect your order from Salon Heads Up, 10 Perold Street, Soneike, Kuils River during our trading hours. We will let you know when it is ready.
- Courier delivery: we deliver through The Courier Guy. The delivery options, prices and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout once you enter your address. Delivery times are estimates given by the courier and are not guaranteed.
- Please make sure your delivery address and contact number are correct and that someone can receive the parcel. If a delivery fails because of incorrect details or nobody being available, additional delivery costs may apply.
- Ownership of the goods passes to you when you receive them. Please inspect your parcel when it arrives and tell us as soon as possible if it is damaged or incorrect.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel an order, return goods and receive a refund are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
8. Using our products safely
Hair-care and beauty products can cause reactions in some people. Please read the label, follow the manufacturer’s directions, and do a patch test before first use. Stop using a product and seek medical advice if you have a reaction. Information on this website is general and is not medical advice.
9. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or to the brands we stock and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may not copy or reuse it commercially without our written permission.
10. Third-party services and links
Our site uses services from others, such as PayFast (payments), The Courier Guy (delivery), Google (analytics and reviews) and WhatsApp (chat). These providers have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
11. Our liability
We will do our best to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot promise that it will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, without limiting your right to approach the National Consumer Commission or any other consumer body.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
